Century Hotel Model

The Century Hotel is one of the most recognisable buildings on Miami's 'South Beach'. Even nestled among possibly the greatest selection of art deco buildings in the world, the Century Hotel stands out from the crowd. It was designed by the renowned art deco architect Henry Hohauser in 1939. Beautifully proportioned, with its straight lines and bold geometric shapes, it is the pinnacle of art deco splendour. This architectural sculpture of the beach front facade was handcrafted by the duo Chisel & Mouse in their studio in Sussex, England. It is made of strong plaster that has a reassuring weight and smooth, cool feel.
