Louis C. Tiffany Iris Landscape Expandable Vase
This expandable vase does everything a glass vase does except collect dust, chip or break. Available in a variety of designs, these plastic vases are durable and stable enough to hold a flower bouquet. They’re ideal for events, weddings, and any table top--collapsible and economical, making it easy to keep a variety of colors and patterns tucked away for any occasion. Made of BPA free plastic the vase measures 10.25” x 6.25”. The vase stores flat. Just pour water into the vase to expand.
Leaded glass windows for ecclesiastical and domestic settings were among Louis C. Tiffany’s (American, 1848-1933) most significant works. This beautiful vase is inspired by one of five panels which originally comprised “Good Shepherd with Landscape” (ca. 1909), designed by Frederick Wilson (American, 1858-1932). Two of the panels are in the collection of the New York Historical Society and reflect contemplative moments in nature. The panel adapted here captures the misty blue hues of an early morning at lakeside as purple irises strive for the first tentative rays of sunlight.
