Frank Lloyd Wright Midway Gardens Chess Set

The Frank Lloyd Wright Midway Gardens Chess Set includes multiple “sprites” and other distinctive design elements Mr. Wright created for the Midway Gardens, a cultural and entertainment complex built in Chicago, Illinois, in 1914. The chess set is cold cast resin with hand-rubbed patina finish. King and Queen are 5” high with other pieces in proportion.  The set includes 16 pieces in black and 16 pieces in white and does not include the chess board.   The set comes packed in an FLW yellow gift box foam-sculpted to fit each piece.
