Dear [Decision Maker],

I am deeply concerned about how your words and actions are impacting the lives of the most vulnerable in our nation, including LGBTQ people, immigrants, women, and religious minorities including Muslims and Jewish people.

I strongly believe that the recent increase in attacks on immigrants are tied to your anti-immigrant rhetoric and anti-immigrant executive orders. Muslims are living in fear from constant threats to their safety including bomb threats and burnings of Islamic Centers and Mosques. Similarily, Jewish people have had their community centers and cemeteries defaced and vandalized. There have also now been 8 transgender women of color who have been murdered this year, and countless more are facing racial hostility, and transphobic and sexist harassment and discrimination. I could go on.

I urge you and your administration to cease and desist these attacks. Every negative word that you utter, every negative action you take, is hurting and dividing our nation -- and creating a hostile environment for those who are the subject of your attacks.
