2019 Lurie Cancer Center Cancer Survivors' Celebration Walk & 5K

Cancer Sucks

To my family and friends,
First, Dil, Rebecca and I would like to thank each of you for the support you have given each of us over the past three years.  As you know our lives were forever changed on the day I recieved my diagnosis.  While it has been an ongoing battle, and at times very challenging, it has always been made easier by the kindness and support you have given us.
As you know, this spring marked 3 years cancer free!  While we know this doesn't mean our battle is over, it is indeed reason to celebrate and be grateful.
On Sunday, June 2nd we will again be participating in the Cancer Survivors' Walk and Celebration hosted by the Lurie Cancer Center of Northwestern Hospital.  This walk raises funds to support the treatment of cancer and research efforts to find a cure.  While we walk and support this cause in celebration of our personal success and the success of others we know and love, we also do it to honor the memory of far too many friends and family members who were taken from us and to support others who are also fighting cancer today.
So many of you have supported us the last two years and we would be honored if you could do so again this year.  If this is your first year joining us, welcome, we are glad to have you.
Thanks again!
Mark, Dil and Rebecca
