Pat McDonald Research Award

In recognition of Pat’s tremendous support over some 13 years, Ovarian Cancer Canada has named its key research contribution the Pat McDonald Research Award. Currently an operating grant co-funded by the Cancer Research Society, this Award enables scientists to further important work focused on better understanding ovarian cancer; knowledge that forms the basis for prevention, improved treatments, and ultimately a cure.

Over the course of her involvement with Ovarian Cancer Canada, Pat co-chaired the Walk, served on the organization’s Board of Directors, led countless awareness sessions, and much more. 

All funds raised as part of this special online tribute will be directed to the Pat McDonald Research Award. Thank you for giving generously in hopes of a future without ovarian cancer.
