Our country's coronavirus response must include paid sick days!

Dear Member of Congress,

The United States now has more than 1,000 known cases of coronavirus, and these numbers rise daily.

One of the CDC's top recommendations for preventing the spread of COVID-19 is staying home if you are sick. That's easier said than done for the 32 million U.S. workers -- including 7 in 10 of the lowest wage workers -- who do not have paid sick days.

The United States is one of the only high-wealth countries that does NOT guarantee paid sick days. A policy that allows working people to stay home is proven to help public health -- whether it's the coronavirus or the common flu.

Our country needs policies that help prepare us for public health crises. Show you care about the safety and well-being of working people and families around the country by supporting and passing the Healthy Families Act!
