Support paid leave: Co-sponsor the FAMILY Act today!

Dear Senator,

Coloradans need a real policy solution to address the country's paid leave crisis. Working families are too often caught between their work and family responsibilities.

That's why I urge you to co-sponsor S. 337 -- the Family And Medical Insurance Leave (FAMILY) Act, which would establish an affordable, sustainable national paid family and medical leave program.

Paid leave means not having to choose between job and family. It means older adults and working people of all ages -- especially women, who are more often caregivers -- can get the support they need to receive and provide critical care.

It means people don't have to leave the labor force to care for their families' or own serious health issues.

It means that military families in Colorado would be able to better help wounded service members and deal with deployment-related issues.

And the FAMILY Act could reduce by 83 percent the number of Colorado families facing economic insecurity when they need time to care.

Please make working people and families a top priority by co-sponsoring the FAMILY Act and advancing paid leave for all.

Sincerely,
