Take Action for Worldport Terminal!

Last week’s announcement that JFK’s Worldport Terminal was one of America’s 11 Most Endangered Historic Places was met with an outpouring of public support. Our phones and social media channels were buzzing with enthusiasm for saving the flying-saucer shaped terminal from demolition.

Now we must channel that energy into action. Delta Airlines quietly began demolition over the weekend. It’s not too late to save the Worldport, but we must act quickly.

Join us in calling on the airline to immediately stop demolition and drop its plans to destroy the Worldport. This soaring symbol of jet-age architecture is too important to sacrifice for an airplane parking lot.

By standing up for the Worldport, you’ll help send the message to Delta and the world that historical and cultural icons such as this place deserve more than demolition.
