Show your support for the Cruelty-Free Cosmetics Act

Great news! The California Cruelty-Free Cosmetics Act, SB 1249, is on its way to the Senate floor.

SB 1249, sponsored by Senator Cathleen Galgiani (D-Stockton), the Physicians Committee, and California group Social Compassion in Legislation, would make it unlawful for any cosmetic manufacturer to import or sell any cosmetic, including personal hygiene products such as deodorant, shampoo, or conditioner, in California if the final product or any component of the product was tested on animals after Jan. 1, 2020.

California residents, your continued support is critical. Please write your state Senator and ask them to vote YES on SB1249 using the form below.

Even if you already sent a letter of support to Senator Galgiani, directly contacting your state Senator will ensure the bill passes the Senate, so please write again.

We have provided some text for you, but we encourage you to personalize your message to make it stand out.
