Please help end Hartford Hospital’s use of live pigs in trauma training courses. PCRM members have sent more than 10,000 e-mails to Hartford Hospital asking its leaders to end the use of live animals in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) training. However, the decision-makers at Hartford Hospital don’t seem to be getting the message that 98 percent of ATLS courses are taught with nonanimal methods, including human-based simulators.
If you have any questions, please contact PCRM Manager of Humane Education Programs, Ryan Merkley at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks so much for your help!
