Food for Life Instructor Sonali Sadequee

Sonali is passionate about helping busy people enjoy and improve their health and lifestyle through a gradual and transformative journey. One of the many roles she has within her nutrition work is as a food educator specializing in weight loss, digestive wellness, and disease prevention. Her coaching and teaching style is strengthened by her bachelor's degree in psychology from Georgia State University. Aside from her nutrition work, Sonali is a certified yoga teacher, and you can find her teaching classes in Atlanta.

She is the founder of Sustainable Wellness, a holistic health and lifestyle coaching practice, and co-founder of the nonprofit Kindred Healing Justice Collective.

Her understanding of and enthusiasm for food as healing for the body come through in her fun and engaging teaching style.

Why did you become a Food for Life instructor?
"I meet people daily who express interest in receiving hands-on support on how to actually prepare healing, yummy, and easy foods that help them reverse their chronic health conditions. I am inspired by their stories and requests and thus chose to become a Food for Life instructor. I am determined to help transform the health of Atlanta by bringing powerfully fun, affordable, and efficient cooking classes."

Here is what class attendees are saying…

“This class has made a huge difference in my overall well-being. I've lost 18 pounds in seven weeks. I feel better, sleep better, and am in an overall better mood. Even my skin and hair have improved.”
-Tiffany M., Providence Cancer Center, Anchorage, Alaska

"Everyone who is concerned about nutrition will benefit from this class — and enjoy it. For those of us challenged to survive cancer, it is a great inspiration!”
-Brian C., St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Conn

"After 5 weeks on the program, my husband and I have both lost 10 lbs. My blood sugar has dropped 30 points. My doctor says I may get off all medications at the next visit. I am a breast cancer survivor and my husband has heart disease, so this is a must for us!"
-Annie H., Roanoke Recreation Center, Roanoke, Texas
