This video addresses Fr. Michael van der Peet's relationship with Mother Teresa of Calcutta and her devotion to the Sacred Heart. Father Michael was Mother Teresa's Spiritual Director for several years and on several occasions he preached retreats to the Missionary Sisters of Charity. He was called to Rome to serve as a consultant in the preparation for her beatification.
A recent book on Mother Teresa's spiritual life has led to much publicity on her "dark night of the soul." Father Michael's video, "A Light in the Darkness of Our Days," will help us better understand the meaning of faith in our daily lives.
