Dare Others to Join Your Life Lists Dream

Living your life lists dream is going to be awesome, but it’s going to be a lot more fun with your friends alongside you. Plus, a bigger group makes things like hosting a fundraising event way easier. Whether you set up a team or you simply invite others along for the fun, it’s a better experience the more people you involve.

Dare your friends to live a dream with you.

Looking for an easy way to pass the challenge along? Click here, or on the image to the left, to send an 'Are you up for the challenge?!' e-card to anyone you want to dare to take the challenge with you.

Beyond that, you can consider forming a fundraising team. The concept of a team is simple: people committed to the same cause, seeking the same experience, supporting one another in reaching a fundraising goal.

What makes the team experience even more compelling with Life Lists Challenge is that you can share a fundraising goal. For example, if you're registered for an event with a $1,000 goal: If one team member raises $1,200 in donations and another makes $800($200 short of an individual goal) it’s all good - they’ll both qualify to live their dream.

Why Teams? We’ve got lots of great reasons.

What exactly does a team captain do? Good question. Here’s your answer.

We’ve developed a number of social media messages and some email templates to help you in your fundraising, and in sharing the word of your participation.

Ready to send your invite? Just copy and paste the email and social media copy below.

Parkinson Canada is giving me two unique opportunities, and I want you to be a part of both of them.

For one, we’ll fundraise to make a difference for an important mission Parkinson Canada does great work on behalf of the over 100,000 Canadians impacted by Parkinson’s, funding research, support services, education and advocacy. Making a difference is the rewarding part.

And two, the fun part: let’s go skydiving! Taking the leap out of a plane is a dream I’m looking to cross off my Life List and I want you to join me.

The concept is simple: we commit to raising $1,000 per team member and this, we’re at an event with everyone participating by jumping out of a plane.

Let’s do it! Sign up for my team here: [TEAM_PAGE].

Not interested? Parkinson Canada has a lot of other great events you can be a part of, at www.lifelistchallenge.ca, or you can support my personal campaign here [ENTER URL TO YOUR FUNDRAISING PAGE].
