Hello, incredible friends and family!
Welcomeeee to the fundraising page for my 8th and final year being involved with Dance Marathon and Riley Hospital for Children. I hope you already feel like part of the IU Dance Marathon family, it's so contagious!
My role:These past 3 years I have the incredible opportunity to be on the Marathon Relations Committee within IU Dance Marathon, both as a member and as part of the leadership team. My committee and I coach 19 high school dance marathons throughout southern Indiana with fundraising, recruiting, and raising awareness of Riley Hospital to their communities all throughout the year. We have the privilege of organizing meetings with their executive councils and attending their marathons. It has been awe-inspiring to witness and foster the passion of Riley Hospital in high school students participating in Dance Marathon.
Why I dance: Over the past 8 years I have gained more and more reasons to continue to support Riley Hospital for Children. Some of these include the Riley families, doctors, childlife specialists, and kids. Additionally I dance for my friends and family, specifically Caleb, Curt, Owen, and the life-long friends I have made through Dance Marathon.
My goal: I have a goal of raising $15,000 this year, this would bring my career total to $32,500. This is a steep goal but I am certain that it is possible, especially with my extra involvement throughout the year and the support of friends and family.
Please watch my Why I Dance video linked below to learn more about the specific reasons why Dance Marathon has such an impact on me and why I am so passionate about Riley Hospital for Children. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwGUaVYBoRc&t=4s)
