HEELLLLOOOO & WELCOME TO MY 2018 IUDM FUNDRAISING PAGE
On the weekend of November 2nd, 2018, I will be joining thousands of other IU students for my third 36-hour Indiana University Dance Marathon. This year, I am unbelievably honored and beyond humbled to be a part of the Dancer Relations committee as Co-Chair of Executive Dancers!
To sum things up, IUDM is a yearlong fundraising and awareness effort for pediatric care at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1991, IU Alumna Jill Stewart started Dance Marathon in honor of her friend Ryan White who had lost his battle with AIDS the year before. Since, IUDM has become the (arguably first) second-largest student run philanthropic event in the nation AND the largest Children's Miracle Network marathon to date, raising over $32 million For The Kids at Riley.
To me, IUDM has pushed me to constantly live my life to the fullest and make the most of every single second in every single day. To live it with warmth and positivity. To put others before myself. To constantly display kindness, happiness, and passion. It has showed me the smallest gestures can make a considerable difference. I am endlessly grateful.
I have challenged myself to raise $6,500 FTK this year. By donating to this cause, you can help fight for the children and families at Riley Hospital for Children.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking time out of your day to visit my fundraising page and to read my personal story.
One day we will dance in celebration. Until then, we dance for a cure.
With love and FTK always,
