HI THERE!! Welcome to my page!!!
Thank you to all of you who contributed to my goal within the past three years that I have participated in the dance marathon! This year, I will be participating in my very last Indiana University Riley Dance Marathon, on November 15-17, dancing and having fun for the kids at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health. This is the 28TH YEAR (!!!!) the organization has been in existence in remembrance of Ryan White and Ashley Louise Crouse, and to fund research within the hospital.
Riley has always been a place that is very near and dear to my heart. My sister and I both were in and out of Riley as children for various health problems and I have had multiple good friends treated there for serious illnesses, so it has forever been an important place to me. My best friends twin has cerebral palsy and still continues to receieve treatments there. When I was still in high school, my sister started participating in Indiana University Dance Marathon, which I previously had no knowledge about. After seeing all of the amazing things this organization accomplishes, I could NOT WAIT to get to IU and be able to say im a part of something so magical. Last year I served as culture chair on the Marketing Committee, but this year I have the great honor of serving as the Director of the Marketing Committee, and I know it will be absolute best one of my college career! This committee truly is my family and are the sources of my inspiration and motivation for all that I do within this organization. I cannot wait for another year of supporting such great people and such a great place!
Last year, the organization as a whole raised a whopping $4.18 million!!! Over all of the years it has been alive, IUDM has been around it has raised more than $36 MILLION. For the 2018 marathon, I raised $9,314 and because of this I am setting my goal to $7000 for the 2019 marathon. These patients and their families need all the help they can get. Thank you so much for supporting me in my efforts to help this cause, every single cent counts and contributes in someway towards the hospital, Lets do this thing!!!!
