Hard to believe that we're approaching my last dance marathon. I'm even more honored to serve it as PUDM's President this year! PUDM has had such a monumental impact on my time at Purdue and has pushed me to grow and get outside of my comfort zone. PUDM has given me an outlet to grow and thrive. Not to mention I've met my best friends! It's quite amazing to work along side 2000(!!!) passionate Boilermakers.
Purdue University Dance Marathon raises funds for the kids at Riley Hospital for Children. 100% of the funds we raise go toward the Child Life Zone and the Herman B. Wells Center for Pediatric Research. (Riley is even one of the top 15 in the nation for pediatric cancer!) Our money even goes to fund research labs where new cancer treatments are being discovered. My friend, Tyler Trent, even received some of the treatments that PUDM has helped fund during his courageous battle. Research will continue to drive new cancer treatments to be developed. In 100 Days, we will come together for 18 hours to celebrate the kiddos at Riley. For 18 hours we will stand as a part of this generation fighting for the next.
This year PUDM is on a mission to Live the Legacy! I am so excited to live the legacy and carry on the legacies that each of our amazing Riley kids!
