Welcome to my FUNdraising Page!!
Did you know that every day 43 children are diagnosed with cancer? Or that each hour, 92 children are treated for cancer at a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals?
Every year we hold Purdue University Dance Marathon in honor of these children. We dance for 18 hours in hopes that the money we raise will help the researchers at Riley Children's Hospital find a cure for pediatric cancer. We stand on our feet throughout the night to spend time with Riley Kids and hear their stories. We hope to create a place where students, children, and parents can come together to celebrate life and fight for a cure.
Every year we fundraise in hopes of giving back to the children that are fighting against pediatric cancer. All donations go directly to the Herman B. Wells Center for Pediatric Research, which is dedicated to finding a cure for childhood illnesses such as pediatric cancer. The first $100,000 raised will go torwards the Child Life program at Riley Children's Hospital, which gives children a space to play, learn, and have fun while they are being treated.
We fundraise in order to give back to the organization that so many people have found a home in, made lifelong freindships in, and have grown in. PUDM has a special place in my heart and has given me so much more out of my college experience than I could've hoped for. Being involved in Dance Marathon in high school was an amazing experience, but my love for the organization has only grown at Purdue. PUDM is an organization that gives hope to those who need it and helps save lifes through funding that is needed for research. The people in this organization inspire me each and every day to be the best person I can possibly be.
This organization has impacted my life in so many ways, and I hope it can impact yours as well.
