Please Co-Sponsor Bill to help build families
Dear [Decision Maker],
I write to you today as a practitioner who works daily to help patients through their battle with infertility, which includes the use of assisted reproductive technologies. Many Americans who are diagnosed by specialists as infertile often feel that they have little hope given the barriers that exist today to treatment. We can help to lessen some of these challenges with S. 965, the Family Act of 2011. My hope is that you will offer your support of the legislation by becoming a co-sponsor.
The Family Act establishes a federal tax credit that will help patients battling infertility offset the costs of in-vitro fertilization (IVF), a type of infertility treatment, and will help make this vital patient care more accessible for millions of Americans. Battling infertility is an emotional issue and experience for so many, and this legislation can help people recognize their goal of building a family. Please support the Family Act by co-sponsoring the bill, which will help reproductive medicine physicians provide options and solutions for struggling Americans.
I look forward to your response.
