Dear [Decision Maker],

I am your constituent and I am concerned that women and men with infertility who may need advanced medical treatment to build their family cannot access that care. Right now most Americans do not have health insurance for infertility treatment. These include our military and veterans who cannot access treatments such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), and young women with cancer who may want to preserve their fertility before starting their cancer treatment. There is a solution that will help many: The Family Act (S 881). This bill creates a tax credit for the out-of-pocket costs associated with infertility medical treatment such as IVF and fertility preservation.
