While we are optimistic that there is a light at the end of the pandemic tunnel, people are still coping with continuing isolation and struggling to find a new normal. This is why ITR is committed to supporting organizations that provide care to those facing mental health issues. Even though our show is called Self-Help, many, at some time in their lives, need help from others.

With that in mind, ITR has chosen The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre as our charity for this show. The play tells the hilarious story of Cindy and Hal Savage (former second-rate actors) who have built an empire peddling questionable advice about love, sex, romance, and success. With nowhere to go but down, the ambitious couple will go to any lengths to protect their fame, fortune, and reputation. But now there’s a stiff in the study, a reporter looking for dirt in the hall and a maid with Irish attitude cooking up pots of creamed corn in the kitchen.

Please note that this show has mature contact and is not recommended for children.
