DIFD's mission is to raise awareness, inspire conversations and transform youth mental health through advocacy, research and education. The success of our mission depends on our donors like you who support lifesaving research and youth educational programming at The Royal such as:

  • Is It Just Me?an education series designed to start open and informal conversations with youth about mental health, and teach them how to take care of their minds and how to recognize when they need help.
  • The DIFD Mach-Gaensslen Chair in Suicide Prevention Research – a research chair dedicated to building knowledge in suicide prevention and creating real solutions to prevent suicide and the devastating impact it has on Canadian families.
