Thank you for supporting Krepack for a Cure!

krepack.jpg Howard D. Krepack had an uncanny ability to successfully juggle all of the things he was passionate about in his life—family, friends, athletics, and the law—in a way that many found inspiring. For the past five years he has been a source of great inspiration to those around him as he fights courageously against a deadly and truly life-altering disease—Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).

Howard was loved and admired, as evidenced by the steady stream of visitors to the Krepack home who come to talk to and reminisce, even as ALS has robbed him of most of his ability to communicate. Music was shared, books were read aloud, sports games were watched, politics were discussed.

It was also Howard’s vision, through the support from his friends and family, to support pioneering research efforts in the fight against ALS. Krepack For A Cure raises money in Howard’s memory to support the research work of Jeffrey D. Rothstein, MD PhD, of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine; the global collaborative science of the Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins (www.alscenter.org); and the scientific initiatives of the AnswerALS campaign (www.answerals.org).

Your gift lights the path to therapies and a cure for ALS.

The hope is in the science.
