Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the 2020 Richstone Walk, a fundraising event for the Richstone Family Center.  I'm walking so that some of the most vulnerable members of my community can receive the services they need to heal and thrive.  

It is hard to believe but this April it will be two years since my retirement from UCLA.  While I am having the time of my life, I also now have the time to give back.  I am involved with a wonderful local organziation called The Richstone Family Center.  Richstone is a non-profit dedicated to preventing and treating child abuse and domestic violence.  They have grown over the last 30 plus years and they make a real difference in the lives of local children and famlies.

I am walking to help support this wonderful organization.   

I hope you will help me in any way you can.  Even the smallest donation will go a long way.

 More About Richstone
For 45 years, the Richstone Family Center has provided the South Bay and South Los Angeles area with exceptional services to treat and prevent child abuse and trauma, strengthen and educate families, and prevent violence in families, schools and communities.  The Richstone Walk raises critical funds for Richstone’s core programs, including:  

• Individual/family counseling and support groups for children and adults
• Early childhood education programs that increase school readiness
• Domestic violence and child abuse treatment and prevention services
• Nutrition, health, and wellness classes
