Dear Friends,
Many of you know that I've been a volunteer at Southeastern Guide Dogs since the pandemic started. My current dog is in training to be a service dog for a veteran and is the 26th dog I've hosted.
This is an organization near and dear to my heart and because Southeastern Guide Dogs relies on donations and doesn't charge a penny for their dogs or services, for the past three years, my friend Lee and I have participated in their biggest fundraiser of the year - Walkathon! All of you who so generously supported us in the past have contributed to the life changing mission of Southeastern Guide Dogs. Thanks to the intelligence and fine training of these dogs, people with vision loss, veterans with disabilities, and children with significant challenges find the freedom, confidence, and independence they need.
We've set an ambitious goal again this year but one we're confident we can reach with your help. Thank you in advance for your support! It is greatly appreciated.
Karen
