One of my best friends, Hope Clontz, has been blind from birth. She has gained independence through her three guide dogs, Muffin, Shannon, and Reno. Soon she will travel to Southeastern Guide Dogs to train with her fourth guide dog.
In her honor, I am trying to raise money to name a dog after her, Hope! Wouldn't that be a great name for a guide dog? One that means so much to someone who has limited or no vision, or for a veteran with disabilities, or for a child with significant challenges? Hope can help them find the freedom, confidence ,and independence they need.
My plan is to also raise Hope in my home and give her a head start in socialization and basic skills, but I need help! Please make a donation, any amount will help me reach my goal of $5000.
Southeastern Guide Dogs relies on donations and doesn't charge a penny for their dogs or services. I've set an ambitious fundraising goal and I am excited to contribute to the life changing mission of Southeastern Guide Dogs.
