So even though we have no puppy in training at our house currently, we are still very much involved with our SouthShore Puppy Raisers Club and Southeastern Guide Dogs and are asking for your help in raising funds for their largest fundraiser. This year we are sponsoring two puppies in training from the last two Walkathons. One for our grandson Wyatt is named Mohawk, and the other named Alfie for Art who raises so much money fixing bikes for the community. We could not have done it without our community and friends' generosity.
Did you know that Southeastern Guide Dogs breeds, raises, and trains some of the finest guide dogs, service dogs, and skilled companion dogs in the world? The puppies are adorable, but to witness these amazing dogs at work is nothing short of miraculous. Thanks to the intelligence and fine training of these dogs, people with vision loss, veterans with disabilities, and children with significant challenges find the freedom, confidence, and independence they need.
When I learned that Southeastern Guide Dogs relies on donations and doesn't charge a penny for their dogs or services, I decided to participate in their biggest fundraiser of the year - Walkathon! I've set an ambitious fundraising goal and I am excited to contribute to the life changing mission of Southeastern Guide Dogs.
