2020 Hunter Henderson Fun RunThe Hunter 5k Costume Fun Run Supporting the Dell Children's Trust

The Hunter 5k Costume Fun Run was created to honor and celebrate the fast life and free spirit of Hunter Lane Henderson, who tragically passed away in December of 2018 at the age of 4 1/2. Hunter loved Halloween and dressed up in costume throughout the year and roared like a tiger every chance he got. The Hunter 5k was inspired by Chance, Hunter’s father, who wanted to create a fun and inclusive event that Hunter would be proud of.

This year, funds raised through the Hunter 5k will benefit the Dell Children’s Medical Center. The round the clock care and attention to detail given by doctors, nurses and staff at Dell Children’s made a truly traumatic time a little less painful.

As an Ascension Seton non-profit Hospital, Dell Children’s Medical Center is the only level one Trauma Center serving a 46 county region across Central Texas. Caring for a population of roughly 70% uninsured or underinsured patient families, philanthropic support from the community ensures that no child is ever turned away regardless of their families’ ability to pay.

Please join us in supporting Dell Children’s through the Hunter 5k today!
