RBC Race for the Kids helps change — and save — the lives of young people affected by mental illness and addiction. With two distances and fun, family-friendly entertainment, this annual run/walk for charity raises funds for the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook. Funded by generous donors like you, this innovative program guides youth and their families to the mental health services they need.
Since 2013, the RBC Race for the Kids has rallied over 60,000 participants and raised over $16 million in support of the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook, helping thousands of young people who are struggling.
Yet families need our help more than ever. As many as 1.2 million Canadian youth are struggling with mental illness and 30% of Ontario families are caring for at least one youth with mental illness and/or addiction. Learn more about youth mental health to see why your support is so important.
Whichever distance you choose, you’ll know every step you take will be helping youth with mental illness find the support they need.
