Since the first race in 2013, over $23-million has been raised in support of Sunnybrook’s Family Navigation Project. Thanks to participants like you, this unique program — the first of its kind in Canada — has helped thousands of youth in our community, and their families, find the mental health services they need.
But there’s still work to be done. Families and young people need our help more than ever. As many as 1.2 million Canadian youth are struggling with mental illness and 30% of Ontario families are caring for at least one youth with mental health and/or addiction challenges.
By participating in RBC Race for the Kids Toronto, you’re helping change — and save — the lives of young people affected by mental illness and addiction. Whether you walk or run, your support will raise funds for Sunnybrook’s Family Navigation Project, an innovative program funded by generous donors like you.
