Did you know as many as 1.2 million Canadian youth are struggling with mental illness, and 4 out of 5 of these young people aren’t receiving the care they need?
In hopes of bringing about a change in these statistics, I have been volunteering for the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook, an innovative program that connects young people struggling with mental illness and addiction to the help they desperately need.
The Family Navigation Project is 100% funded by donations, so I’m participating in the RBC Race for the Kids, a fundraising race that supports youth mental health. All proceeds from the RBC Race for the Kids in Toronto will help the FNP operations.
I hope you will consider making a donation through RBC Race for the Kids to help this life-changing program. It allows youth in our community to get help for mental illness so they can reach their potential.
Thank you so much for your support of the Family Navigation Project!
