When I cross the finish line on September 14, at the 2019 RBC Race for the Kids in support of Sunnybrook’s Family Navigation Project (FNP), I’ll be powered by three important things.

• As a father, I want to ensure our young people have access to the best possible mental health care.
• As a health care provider, I recognize the life-changing and lifesaving impact of FNP, which has connected close to 3,000 youth with mental illness and/or addictions and their families with the services they urgently need.
• As president and CEO of Sunnybrook, I know the powerful role that philanthropy plays in programs like FNP. The RBC Race for the Kids has raised an incredible $12 million since 2013.
