COMMITMENT OF A GETLOUD VOLUNTEER
Attend a Volunteer Orientation & Screening Session
at SickKids Foundation Office (525 University Ave)
All new volunteers are required to attend a mandatory 1.5 hour Volunteer Crew Orientation & Screening session with SickKids Foundation in order to be eligible to volunteer at this event. The GetLoud Volunteer Engagement Team will send an email once the volunteer has registered to schedule an orientation (several date and time options are available to choose from).
*Please note, due to overwhelming interest in volunteer positions at this event, event roles will only be assigned to volunteers who successfully complete the orientation and screening session. If you are unable to attend any of the orientation session dates, it is your responsibility to reach out to the Volunteer Engagement Team as soon as possible.
Returning SickKids Foundation volunteers will not be required to attend an in person training, but will be required to complete an online training webinar!
Attend the All Crew Meeting
Fort York (100 Garrison Road)
This is your chance to meet your Volunteer Captain and the rest of your volunteer team and also learn about your role specific involvement on event day, may that be along the route, or during the festival!
