Help Biola University Support SOSC!
Hello! Thank you so much for checking out our giving page. We are a group of business majors and athletes from Biola University. We are partnering with the Special Olympics of Southern California to bring more awareness to the athletes of Southern California. We believe in the work that the Special Olympics of Southern California is doing by empowering athletes with intellectual disabilities to train for athletic competition that will directly impact their life after sports Your support will help fund new equipment, sponsor an athlete’s training and participation in leadership and so much more. We are trying to spread awareness to athletes, students and faculty across Biola in hopes to bridge the gap between the SOSC and Biola.
Biola and SOSC have been partners since the early 90’s when former head coach Dee Henry opened a wheelchair clinic for physically disabled athletes which connected her with the Special Olympics committee of Orange County. From there Biola has hosted many events for SOSC. In 2015 Biola was honored to host over 100 athletes for the Special Olympics world games that was hosted in 2015. Biola has also had the opportunity to partner with president and CEO of SOSC in many projects run through the Crowell school of business.
As a group we hope that the partnership grows and flourishes for the years to come.
