Louise, a homeless rabbit rescued by the SPCA of Wake County
Not all pets in the shelter are strays. Not all pets come from abusive situations. Some come to the SPCA from loving families who are devastated when the situation doesn’t work out. Louise had a home and another bunny for company, but when she and the other rabbit started to fight, her family decided it would be best if she could find a home where she could be the only rabbit. The SPCA stepped in and made her part of the adoption program. Louise only waited 15 days before someone came in looking for a single rabbit. She snatched Louise up before she could lose her to someone else. The SPCA is always happy to help a pet in need. The icing on the cake here is also helping a distressed family who had to part with a beloved rabbit.
