It affects sufferers by changing their life forever.  The impact in lifestyle of individual sufferers varies from sometimes wreaking havoc in their body as well as taking an emotional toll on their souls. Often no longer able to work fulltime due to the disease, the lifelong financial impact can be severe.  It also not only takes a physical toll but also an emotional toll.
