2022 Mid-Atlantic and National Walk for Sjögren's

Purple Storm

They whispered to her you can’t stand the storm.  She whispered back I am the STORM!!

Those who I have asked to walk with me know the debilitating pain I have had for years.  They also know I put one foot in front of the other everyday and keep a smile on my face.  I rarely will ask for help, because all these years I have been a caregiver; I’m best at helping others.

Please join me for my second annual Walk for Sjögren’s.  It will be April 9 th, 2021 at 10:00 am at Fort Hunt Park.

If you are wanting to walk and aren’t local no worries.  Select a place to walk and rock your shirt at the same time.

I look forward to your support. Last year my word was PURPOSE; this year my word is RESILIENCE.  I selected this word before I knew COVID would infiltrate my body.  I will keep pushing and will be ready for this walk in April.

I hope that you will join the team and help to increase awareness and raise funds to support the work of the Sjögren's Foundation!
