What is Sjogren's (pronounced Show-grins)?:

-Upwards of 4 million Americans are living with Sjögren's and nive out of ten Sjögren’s patients are women. 

-Sjögren's is very common yet still little known and can take up to 2.8 years to diagnose due to its complexity.

-It is a systemic, serious and prevalent disease in which the body’s immune system attacks the moisture producing glands. 

-While hallmark symptoms include dry eye, dry mouth, fatigue and joint pain, Sjögren’s is a systemic autoimmune disease, which means it can also attack any organ or body.
