Welcome to Our Personal Page- 17th Annual Walk May 30, 2020

Thank you for Joining us in our efforts to support the Sjögren's Syndrome Foundation!
17 YEARS Maurine and Ken have been volunteering for and raising funds for the Sjogren's Syndrome Denver Walk!!
As you probably already know, Maurine struggles daily with this disease...it's been a long road and she is still on an uphill climb.
As a Sjogren's patient knows, there is a large number of daily routines that she likes to call "Daily Maintenance" -- all of the lotions, chap sticks, eye drops and prescription medicines that must be applied and taken at least 3-5 times a day.
You also probably know that Maurine is a Sjogren's Syndrome Support Group leader for the Denver area. We have learned that this disease does not affect all people the same way...it affects different people different ways, some severely and some not very much at all, but we all have one thing in common...we don't get the support that we feel we need, mostly because people don't know what Sjogren's is and don't understand what's happening.
That is why I helped form the very first Sjogren's Walkabout in the country right here in Denver 17 years ago!
We are very proud to know that we are educating people every day, and more and more undiagnosed patients are now knowing what's happening with them so much sooner...it used to take and average of 6 years for a diagnosis. Now because of your donations and help with research, that has decreased significantly to 2 years!
Your research dollars are doing so much for all, THANK YOU for every penny!!
