Each year, our Top Teams and Top Fundraisers play an important part in helping us reach our fundraising goal of $750,000.00.
"I walk because the day reminds me of my brave patients and their devoted families. The funds raised provide important services to my patients. It's moving to walk among all of the people who come out in support of the cancer patients in this community."
- Anne Angevine - Bennett Cancer Center
"My husband Dennis Sugrue was treated at the Bennett Center after his diagnosis of Brain cancer in 2009. Can't imagine anywhere in the world where the care, love, friendship and professionalism could have been better. Continue the great work!"
- Donna A. Sugrue - Nagi Jewelers
"I feel helpless when my circle of loved ones includes someone in a battle for their life. Walking enables me to do something positive. I've seen friends benefit from the programs Hope in Motion supports and I feel like I'm contributing to their care."
- Annalisa DiNucci - Michele's Caring Bridge
"This will be my 13th year walking with CB's Gang in support of my mother who was a survivor. This will be my first year walking in her honor."
- Davida Bates-Johnson - CB's Gang
"In memory of my mom Esperanza Escobar who was treated with kindness, compassion and rigor to help her fight cancer. It's hard to express gratitude with such a sad situation but I am grateful for the Bennett Cancer Center."
- Esperanza Teasdale
Without the help of our dedicated volunteers, the Walk & Run would not be possible.

5,500 patients walk through the Bennett Cancer Center’s doors each year. Here’s how dollars raised through the Walk & Run put hope in motion for these patients and their families in 2018. Money raised each year through the Walk & Run helps provide services like these free of charge to patients at Stamford Health’s Bennett Cancer Center.
