Want an easy way to celebrate a special occasion or honor or memorialize someone? Are you participating in an event and want to raise money to Carolinas HealthCare hospitals and programs?

Create your custom fundraising page and invite your friends, family and co-workers to support you!

Here is a list of available Fund Designees to which you may ask your donors to direct their gifts made on your fundraising page. It is ultimately up to the donor to choose the Fund Designee from a drop-down list shown in their individual transaction process, but you can give special instructions in your page content encouraging support of a particular fund, if you so desire. HINT: ADD THIS INSTRUCTION SOMEWHERE OBVIOUS ON YOUR PAGE TEXT, SUCH AS AT THE TOP OF YOUR PAGE.

Otherwise, gifts to your page will go to an undesignated fund at Carolinas HealthCare Foundation and will be used (for charitable purposes only, supporting CHS programs/facilities/research/etc.) as they are needed most.

The following image shows how the content elements are arranged on your default fund page. As you work with the sections below, the corresponding section in the image will highlight to indicate where that information will be located on the default fund page layout.

Your Fund Page: Your Fund Page:

The Fundraising Page Name will be the Title of your fundraising page. Using a descriptive label (such as one that includes the name of the Fund Designee, if you are directing people to a particular area to support) will help people find your fund when they search for it. This is editable from your Champion Center if you want to make changes later.

Your story is featured on your fundraising page. Telling a compelling story of why you are creating your page and why people should support you may help inspire people to donate.

The picture you upload will display on your page to add a personal touch and may inspire people to support your fundraising page. You can change the image later in the Champion Center. To show more pictures, you can create and link to Photo Albums from the Champion Center.

Upload a Picture for Your Fundraising Page:

1. Prepare your image.

The Fundraising Goal will display on your page and may encourage people to give generously to your cause.

The Fundraising Page Description will display with the fundraising page name in search results to help distinguish this fundraising page from other pages with similar names. You can enter small details about the Honoree (for example, city of residence, a nickname, or family name). You can edit this later in the Champion Center.

A fundraising page that is set up as "private" does not display in search results. Only those people to whom you send a link or know the URL of your page will be able to view your fund page if you mark it private.
