After months of intense preparation, Trillium Health Partners is now on the front line in the fight against the virus.

In ordinary times, we take comfort knowing THP is there to serve the usual health needs of our community. Now, we need to step up for our hospital and ensure it has the tools and equipment needed to respond to the outbreak.

THP is the largest community academic hospital in the province, looking after a huge population of 2.2 million people. With between 30 to 70 percent of Canadians expected to get the virus, according to Canada’s Minister of Health, THP will see a growing number of patients, especially in our intensive care units.

THP needs the flexibility to respond quickly as the impact of the virus grows. At this stage, the hospital is seeking support for more personal protection equipment and ventilators – but those needs could change.  Things are changing very quickly, so please give generously so our hospital can provide exemplary care to our community during this challenging time as we raise $50,000 to support THP.
