Maple Diversity fundraiser for Trillium Health Partners to fight COVID-19
In the face of unprecedented public health threat due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Trillium Health Partners (THP) is on the front line in the fight against the virus and needs our help.
Towards this goal, Maple Diversity has made an initial contribution of $10,000 as a donation to Trillium Health Partners Foundation to kickstart a fundraiser in partnership with THP to battle COVID-19.
Trillium Health Partners is the largest community academic hospital in the province, looking after a huge population of 2.2 million people. With more Canadians expected to get affected by the virus, THP will see a growing number of patients, especially in the intensive care units.
THP, being on the front line in this fight against coronavirus, needs the flexibility to respond quickly as the impact of the virus grows. The need of the hour is more personal protection equipment and ventilators – but those needs could change.
We know and appreciate the crucial role THP plays in the health and wellbeing of our community. So, we must step up for our hospital and ensure it has the essential tools and equipment to respond to the outbreak.
