Dear Crowley ISD community,
You can help students in Crowley ISD achieve their college dreams! This year, our district is partnering with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), the nation’s largest minority education organization, by launching a workplace giving campaign to raise scholarship funds for deserving college-bound students in Crowley ISD.
Every dollar donated in Crowley ISD will be awarded to Crowley ISD students. Seniors of all races from Crowley High School and North Crowley High School can apply for scholarships to attend any accredited college or university.
The workplace giving campaign begins in February as part of our Black History Month celebration. Crowley ISD employees interested in giving have two ways to contribute:
1. Electronically through this website.
2. Payroll deduction — One-time or monthly. Monthly deductions will be taken out during a four (4) month period effective March through June of 2019. Payroll deduction forms must be signed by the employee and sent to Crystel Polk in CISD Central Administration via interoffice mail or crystel.polk@crowley.k12.tx.us by Feb. 22, 2019.
Parents, students and community members can also participate in the campaign via this website.
Your individual contribution is vital in accomplishing our mission of helping deserving Crowley ISD students achieve post-secondary opportunities. UNCF has made the dream of attending college a reality for thousands of deserving young adults throughout their 70-year history.
I am excited to serve as the district campaign coordinator for the 2018-2019 school year. Thank you in advance for your support and cooperation. Please feel free to contact me at 817-297-5296 or crystel.polk@crowley.k12.tx.us if you have any questions. You may also contact the UNCF representative, Cortney Lewis Smith, at cortney.lewis@uncf.org or 972-234-1007 ext. 1003 for additional information or materials.
Sincerely,
Crystel Polk
