2020 UNCF/The NETwork Giving Initiative: "Take 10K"
We all understand that a college education provides today’s youth with infinite opportunities. The NETwork Black Integrated Communications Professionals (BICP), AT&T’s oldest Employee Resource Group, has had a long and rich history of raising funds in support of United Negro College Fund (UNCF) scholarships. The combined efforts of The Network BICP’s members, AT&T employees and UNCF supporters have assisted thousands of young adults facing financial challenges by giving them an opportunity to enrich their minds with a college education.
Since 1982, The NETwork BICP has contributed more than $22 million to UNCF. This year, we have set a goal to raise $10,000 beginning in the month of February, through our #TheNETworkTakes10K campaign. We’ve done it before, and with your support we can do it again!
The UNCF conducts more than 400 scholarship programs, open to all racial and ethnic backgrounds, and supports more than 60,000 students at 900+ U.S. colleges & universities. They award scholarships to students across the nation, which helps to provide students with life changing support to not only fulfill their dreams, but positively impact the future of their families and our society. The organization’s mission is to build a robust and nationally-recognized pipeline of under-represented students who become highly-qualified college graduates. They also aim to ensure that their network of member institutions is a respected model of best practices in moving students to and through college. Funds generated by the UNCF/The NETwork BICP scholarships are open to all qualified students pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) related degrees. It is through our philanthropy that all of us can be great!
Please join us in support of this worthy cause and let’s make a difference today as we “Take 10K” together! All questions should be directed to scholarships@thenetworkbicp.org.
Transforming Our Future,
The NETwork Black Integrated Communications Professionals
