Heart and vascular disease continues to be the number one cause of premature death for women in Canada. The Canadian Women's Heart Health Centre (CWHHC) and the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation want to change that statistic — and we need your help to make it happen.

JUMP IN™ is a nation-wide physical activity challenge in support of women’s heart health. Just get active for 30 minutes a day for 30 days this September.

Join a community of Canadians from coast to coast to coast that come together to support, inspire, teach and encourage each other.

This fun and friendly challenge is open to everyone of all ages and abilities. Just register and get moving — in your own space and at your own pace!

By committing to this challenge, we are not only taking care of us, we are investing in unparalleled women’s heart health programs, services, and research powered by the Canadian Women's Heart Health Centre(CWHHC), including national initiatives of the Canadian Women's Heart Health Alliance.

All it takes is 30 minutes a day. That's it!

30 minutes is:

  • Listening to your favourite podcast while you walk your dog through the park
  • An episode of your favourite show while walking on a treadmill
  • Shooting hoops with your daughter
  • Cycling with your spouse
  • A walk with your mom
  • A jog with your sister

It’s mall-walking with a friend or strolling through a farmer’s market.

It’s yoga, skipping, canoeing, bowling, roller skating.

It’s dancing like no one’s watching!

It’s gardening, mowing the lawn, or even washing the car.

It’s anything that gets you moving and having fun!
