The University of Rochester invites you to the 2017 Don Smith Memorial Golf Endowment Fund Tournament at Oak Hill Country Club on Monday, October 9, 2017. The tournament will be limited to the first 128 participants returning entries. The 128 participant number is firm; that is all we can allow.

The day will include registration starting at 10:30 a.m., lunch at 11:00 a.m., golf on the world famous East course at 12pm, and prizes & hors d'oeuvres following golf.  The format will be two net best balls of four.

The entry fee is $325 per person, which includes golf, carts, range, lunch, hors d'oeuvres after golf, and your donation. Checks should be made payable to the University of Rochester.

There will also be a sweepstakes available to all participants. There is no purchase necessary to enter to win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

This is a great opportunity to support the golf program, have a great day of golf at Oak Hill, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow alumni, friends, and business associates. You may put your own group of four together or enter a partial group or individually and we will arrange a competitive group for you.

Please complete the enclosed entry form and submit by October 1^st. If you cannot play, but would like to support the team through a contribution, please do so. Every contribution is important. Thank you for your continued support of UR golf.

Note: If no handicap, one will be assigned at registration.  “Softspikes” or spikeless shoes only. 

Under New York law, the University may expend so much of the Fund as the Board of trustees deems prudent after considering the preservation and purpose of the Fund, economic factors including inflation, the expected total return from investment of Fund asset, the University’s investment policy, and other resources and alternatives to expending the Fund, unless otherwise restricted by the donor in writing at the time of the gift.
