Western's Local Government Program Alumni Society is pleased to announce our 2013 Annual Conference. This year’s theme is The Creative Spark - Public Service Innovation. Our keynote speaker will be TTC Chair and Toronto City Councillor, Karen Stintz, BA’92, Dip’93

Conference Registration Fees:

  • Alumni $100
  • Non-alumni: $110
  • MPA full-time student fee: $45

We also invite you to join us for Cocktails & Conversation, a networking reception taking place on the Thursday evening prior to the conference.

The keynote speaker for Cocktails and Conversation will be Jeff Fielding, CAO of the City of Burlington and recipient of the Local Government Alumni Society first annual Award of Excellence. There is no additional registration fee for conference delegates to attend Cocktails and Conversation.

In accordance of Article 5.09 of the Constitution of the Local Government Program Alumni Society of Western University, please be advised that the Annual General Meeting of the Local Government Program Alumni Society, Western University will take place on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Best Western Lamplighter Inn & Conference Centre, 591 Wellington Rd, London, Ontario, starting at 1:00 p.m.  All graduates of the Local Government Program, Western University are invited to attend.
