Named after Fife Sound on the mainland coast, Fife (A60) is an adult male killer whale who was born in 1992. Back in 2003, Fife was struck by a vessel and sustained deep cuts below the right side of his dorsal. Researchers believe that his sister is A16, who was taken into captivity in 1969 and currently lives at the San Diego Sea World under the name Corky.
